Associate Science Nursing (ASN) Clinical Adjunct Part TimeApplications will be reviewed on an as needed basis.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Supervising and educating students at clinical sites using a variety of learning experiences and activities.Instructional duties include facilitating clinical learning experiences, assisting with assessment and evaluation of students' achievement of clinical learning outcomes, promoting a safe learning environment for a diverse student body in accordance with the established course syllabi, and utilizing a variety of teaching methods in instruction.Other responsibilities include providing students with appropriate course materials (syllabus, calendar, policy statements or guidelines), utilizing technology to include a simulated electronic health record system, adhering to course competencies in the preparation and delivery of quality instruction, and efficient maintenance of student records. Instructor must be knowledgeable of institutional policies and procedures.Minimum QualificationsBachelor of Science in Nursing degree from a regionally accredited institutionThree (3) years' work experience as a nurse within the past five (5) yearsCurrent Georgia RN License in good standingPreferred QualificationsTeaching experience in an Associate degree nursing program.Teaching experience in an accredited nursing program.Experience using simulation equipment for nursing education.Salary/BenefitsLump Sum/Hourly/No BenefitsEqual opportunity and decisions based on merit are fundamental values of the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG).
