Role: Assembler (Entry-level )
Location: Dubois, PA 15801
Job Summary:
- Entry-level assembler position working with gas meters.
- Candidates will perform mechanical and electrical assembly, testing, and basic production tasks while following safety and quality standards.
- Training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test gas meter components using hand and power tools.
- Follow assembly instructions, drawings, color codes, and work procedures.
- Maintain safety and product quality standards at all times.
- Perform basic mechanical or electrical assembly tasks.
- Record work hours and production data in ERP system (ShopVue).
- Complete required production documentation.
- Maintain clean and organized work area (5S practices).
- Support continuous improvement and daily housekeeping activities.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 3 years of mechanical or hands-on experience preferred (work, school, or hobbies).
- Ability to read basic assembly drawings and instructions.
- Comfortable using computers and basic tools.
- Reliable with strong attention to safety and quality.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand and work up to 12 hours per shift.
- Lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and climb stairs.
- Comfortable working in noisy or dusty environments.
Additional Information:
- Steel-toe shoes required.
- Eye and ear protection provided and must be worn.
- Onsite interviews. Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply; training provided.
