Role: Assembler
Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84116
Duration: 12 months

Job Summary:

Assembler will support medical device manufacturing by performing mechanical assembly, chemical mixing, sample builds, and testing preparation following defined procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and build medical device samples

  • Mix chemical formulations

  • Use specialized equipment to heat-form catheter tips and apply coatings/lubrication

  • Prepare, photograph, and characterize samples

  • Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment

  • Perform quality inspections per SOPs

  • Follow safety, quality, and documentation standards

Daily Work
  • Execute sample builds and testing prep after training

  • Work 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week

  • Flexible start time

  • Occasional overtime available

Required Skills & Experience
  • 2+ years of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience

  • Experience with mechanical builds and chemical mixing

  • Ability to read and follow SOPs and specifications

  • Basic math skills

  • Comfortable using microscopes and measurement tools

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Soft Skills
  • Strong attention to detail

  • Asks questions to ensure accuracy

  • Works independently after training

  • Communicates issues or abnormalities clearly

  • Team-oriented and adaptable

Physical Requirements
  • Standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

  • Regular, punctual attendance
