Job Title: Assembler
Duration: 6 months
Work Location: Patterson, LA 70392
Job Type: Temporary Assignment
Work Type: Onsite
Shift: 6:00am - 4:00pm; rotating weekends; may also include overtime
Job Description:
- The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Assemble components of all Product Lines. Select correct tools and fixtures.
- Test assembled products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.
- Ensure ability to: read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.
- Create labor records for all transactions.
- Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.
Experience & Skill Requirements
Required
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Attention to detail, quality workmanship, consistency
Preferred
- Experience in drilling equipment industry
- Forklift or overhead crane experience
Education Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted
Work Environment
- Shop environment
- Workers must provide their own steel toe boots
- Client provides PPE such as coveralls
