Position Summary: The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing company product. This position may specialize in particular products or processes. Additionally, this position follows all work area related processes and procedures to assemble units, utilizing hand tools, small power equipment, and other special equipment/fixtures. Finally, this position is required to complete paperwork fully, accurately, and timely and also practice good housekeeping. 

Responsibilities
• Adheres to product quality standards, and standard operating procedures

• Tests print engines and completes required documentation into computer database

• Provide support and feedback to lead and engineering team

• Complete basic troubleshooting

• Prepares equipment for shipping

• Assembles, disassembles, and cleans a wide range of products, using drawings, work instructions, and tests to performance specifications.

• Completes required documentation.

• Utilizes the inventory management System-Kanban, cycle counting, physical inventory.

• Performs material, and chemical handling, receiving, and stocking of materials and sales coordination.

• Adheres to facility safety and health requirements; wears prescribed PPE.

• Maintains work area, tools and/or equipment, and machines.

• Maintains focus on continuous improvement by applying 80/20, PLS, and USa principles/techniques and makes process improvement recommendations to management.

 

Requirements

Education  High School Diploma (or GED) required.

Experience/Skills

• One (1) year manufacturing experience preferred

• Ability to work on a team and independently

• Ability to inspect and manipulate small and delicate items using a variety of tools

• Good manufacturing operations knowledge and practices.

• Computer experience with knowledge of Microsoft Office products required

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Good Problem solving and, multi-tasking skills

• Good decision-making skills

• Ability to maintain high productivity on repetitive tasks while working in a fast-paced environment
