Overview Job Title: Assembly Technician Location: East Greenbush, NY Job Type: Full-Time, Temp Hours: ~40 hours/week Job Description: Are you looking to join a team that values sustainability and people? We’re seeking an Assembly Technician to help assemble and test X-Ray Optical elemental analyzers. You’ll work in a supportive, flexible environment that cares about both its employees and the environment. What You’ll Do Assemble and test X-Ray Optical elemental analyzers following detailed instructions. Perform mechanical and electrical assembly, optical alignment, and testing. Accurately record and report production and test data. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Work with proprietary XOS software to perform optical alignment of X-ray sources. Build sub-assemblies using various hand tools while meeting quality standards. Who We’re Looking For Excellent mechanical aptitude; able to handle small or fragile objects. Detail-oriented with strong recordkeeping skills. Able to follow detailed procedures and make critical pass/fail judgments. Comfortable working long periods at multiple computer stations with minimal supervision. High School Diploma required. Salary $19-$20/hour (final pay may vary based on experience).
