Responsibilities for Assembly Technician


  • Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components with precision and consistency

  • Install hardware, rivets, and other fasteners per engineering drawings and specifications

  • Perform hand and pneumatic riveting, including flush and blind rivets

  • Complete basic to complex cable assemblies using crimping, stripping, and soldering techniques

  • Read and interpret CAD files, blueprints, and assembly instructions

  • Use calipers, height gauges, and other inspection tools to verify proper fit and function

  • Ensure assemblies meet cosmetic and dimensional quality standards

  • Maintain accurate build records and update traveler documentation

  • Work collaboratively with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications for Assembly Technician


  • Proven experience as an assembly technician in a precision manufacturing environment

  • Familiarity with hardware installation, torque, and cable assembly best practices

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and CAD prints

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

  • Comfortable using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and measuring equipment

  • Experience with ERP systems

  • Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude

  • Able to follow instructions with minimal supervision

  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Supplemental pay types:

  • Fremont, CA 94539: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:


  • Assembly: 3 years (Preferred)
