Location and Date Available Location: Brooklyn Center Middle/High School (High-Needs School) Date Available: Immediate Position Overview The Brooklyn Center Community School (BCCS) District is seeking two Assessment and EL Intake Specialists to join our teams for the 2025-2026 school year. Positions are available at Brooklyn Center Middle and High School and Brooklyn Center Elementary School. The successful candidate will support the coordination of local, state, and national tests under the supervision and general direction of the Director of Data & Accountability and provide enrollment and reporting support for English Learner programming. Essential Knowledge and Specialized Subject Knowledge Excellent human relations, and oral and written communication skills. Successful experience with students and understanding their needs. Ability to respect, protect, and maintain the confidentiality of students, staff and families. Knowledge in using computer technology to keep records. Organizational skills. Ability to manage complicated procedures and maintain accurate records. Good judgement and decision making. Ability to relate and communicate effectively with people of different cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Qualifications High school diploma. Knowledge in using computer technology to keep records. Excellent human relations, oral and written communication skills. Duty Days and Pay Duty Days: 260 duty days, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (8 hours/day) includes paid holidays. Pay: $24.40/hr- $29.92/hr based on education and experience.
