Job Description
Title: IT Asset Management Analyst
Duration: 12 months (potential for extension)
Location: Evansville, Indiana
Max Pay Rate: $38-$42/hr.
Note: on-site 5 days/week, some travel required (Likely once per month within 10-mile range)
We are seeking an IT Asset Management Analyst to support Technology Services – End User Operations. This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of end-user hardware and software assets to ensure employees across the organization have the tools and services needed to operate effectively and efficiently.
This position plays a critical role in asset governance, procurement coordination, financial tracking, reporting, and process optimization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of hardware and software assets, including laptops, monitors, mobile devices, and enterprise applications
- Submit purchase orders and process invoices in alignment with procurement and financial policies
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to asset management
- Maintain accurate asset records and perform data audits to ensure compliance
- Utilize ServiceNow for ticketing, asset tracking, and report generation
- Develop dashboards and reports in Excel to monitor trends, performance metrics, and operational efficiencies
- Support software licensing and entitlement tracking
- Monitor SLAs and ensure adherence to governance, security, and compliance standards
- Collaborate with sourcing teams, finance, and internal stakeholders to improve asset processes
- Contribute to benchmarking and continuous process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–4 years of experience in IT operations, IT asset management, or end user services
- Experience with ServiceNow and basic knowledge of SAP
- Understanding of procurement, budgeting, and invoice processing workflows
- Strong analytical skills with experience in reporting and dashboard creation (Excel required)
- Familiarity with O365 and enterprise IT environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of governance, compliance, cybersecurity, and operational best practices
