Nidec Europe Sales B.V. is the sales company for product range of the Nidec Group in the EMEA region.We are seeking a candidate to assist the accounting functions for various aspect of our accounting of our sales company.  Job DescriptionThe assistant accounting manager will work from the Nidec Europe office at the WTC Almere, report directly to the accounting manager sales and indirectly to the Accounting, General Admin and HR Director Europe. The candidate will have a primary responsibility and accountability for the day to day and periodic accounting and related consolidation and reporting and provide hands on assistance where necessary.We need someone that has experience with GL Accounting, periodic closings and has worked with different currencies. Furthermore you'll use your analytical skills in this position to get a good view and how to improve processes and make it more efficient. Your key responsibilities will be·  Preparation of monthly journal entries (various general ledger accounts, fixed assets, lease, bank fees, expenses, accruals).Identify and analyse unusual or reconciling items and take appropriate actions to resolve exceptions and reconciling items in a timely manner.Allocation of costs over various administration and departments.·      Maintaining the sub-ledgers, analysis of the P&L, balance sheets, reconcile the accounts.·      Contribute in weekly, monthly, quarterly and year end close activities, analysis, and reports in accordance with strict deadlines.·      Assisting with the internal and external audits. ·      As a back up manage day-to-day accounting and reporting activities to ensure that the entities’ books are maintained in accordance with Dutch GAAP.·      As a back up processing purchase and sales (recharge) invoices and bank statements considering various currencies·      Assist in the VAT calculations & returns of sales company by providing input out of the ERP system and by checking the related balance sheet accounts.·      Support other members of Finance and management in other (ad hoc) projects as needed and to work on process improvements both for our sales and holding company·      Manage relationships with different entities in different countries.  The Successful ApplicantBsc degree in finance, accounting or a comparable field.Minimum of 3 years of experiences in accounting. Knowledge of Exact as ERP system is a plus.Accurate, team player, good organizational skills.Advanced user of MS Excel (pivot tables, Vlookup).Fluent in English both verbally and written. Additional languages and Dutch is preferred.Analytical, hardworking, internationally oriented.You are a self-starter, proactive and used to taking initiative.You enjoy problem solving and working under pressure.·      It's mandatory that you already live in The Netherlands and that you're eligible to work in The Netherlands. What we offerWorking at Nidec means that you will contribute to the improvement and growth of our organization.
