Assistant, Associate, or Professor in OB|GYN Apply
Must obtain Kentucky medical licensure upon appointment and maintain throughout the term of the appointment.
Must be appropriately credentialed and accepted as a member of the active staff.
Major Responsibilities of this position include comprehensive Obstetrics and Gynecology practice and participation in teaching activities with medical students. Development and participation in educational and community activities and involvement in hospital and university committees is strongly encouraged. Experience and enthusiasm in teaching and supervising medical students is desirable. Job responsibilities include:
- Building a comprehensive OB/GYN clinical practice with three other OB/GYNs. OB/GYN Call is 1 in 4 weekends and 1 in 4 weekday calls
- Teaching 3rd and 4th year Medical students. The practice is the site for the RPLP OB/GYN clinical clerkship and 4th year Medical student electives
- Teaching University of Kentucky Family Medicine Residents Gynecology
- Partnering with University of Kentucky and SCRMC for quality and safety in Obstetrics and in Gynecologic surgery
