Assistant/Associate Professor of Biostatistics Position Title: Assistant/Associate Professor of Biostatistics. The faculty member in Biostatistics will provide primary consultative support to research-active faculty across the College, including study design, statistical methodology selection, data management planning, and advanced quantitative analysis for College-supported scholarly projects. The position will collaborate closely with investigators from project conception through dissemination, contributing to protocol development, statistical analyses, regulatory documentation, and preparation of peer-reviewed manuscripts. A limited teaching responsibility will include delivery of selected curriculum or workshops in biostatistics and research methods within the professional and/or graduate curriculum, consistent with departmental needs. Responsibilities Provide biostatistical consultation and methodological support to faculty across the College, including study design, data analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of scholarly work. Collaborate with investigators on research development activities, including grant preparation, protocol development, and manuscript preparation. Apply appropriate quantitative and statistical methods to a range of biomedical, clinical, and educational research questions. Support graduate students and faculty in statistical research design and analysis to advance high-quality scholarly inquiry. Deliver limited instructional content in biostatistics and research methodology within professional and/or graduate curricula, as assigned. Promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff, and students across departments and programs. Interact with academic leadership to coordinate research and instructional activities consistent with College and University priorities. Uphold ethical principles in research design, analysis, interpretation, and reporting. Participate in University and College committees and shared governance processes. Complete required institutional and program accreditation reports and other documentation necessary for academic operations. Perform other duties as assigned.
