Assistant Machine Operator - Bindery

Climate controlled clean environment

Overview of this role includes:

Assisting with setting up, running, maintaining, and breaking down the binding machine

Responsibilities included:
  • Operate binding machine
  • Make glue to desired color and strength
  • Weigh books to ensure quantity of each bundle
  • Perform maintenance on binder machine, including blade changes
  • Machine greasing
  • Replace broken/worn parts
  • Make necessary machine adjustments
  • Inspect work for quality
