Position Summary:

The primary responsibilities of the assistant branch manager are to provide quality service to both current and prospective customers of the bank, sales management, productivity, and to oversee branch operations. This individual will also assume the duties of the branch manager when required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Assume responsibilities of branch manager in their absence.

2. Participates in both internal and external sales activities including community and networking events

3. Maximize customer satisfaction through exceptional service.

4. Assist in selection, training, supervision and evaluation of branch personnel to ensure their attainment of high individual productivity and achievement in their job duties.

5. Provide ongoing training and direction to employees.

6. Meet sales referral and cross-selling goals; knowledgeable in all bank deposit products and services.

7. Responsible and accountable for overseeing and maintaining overall operational soundness of the branch and maintaining IA rating of Satisfactory or higher.

8. Maintain excellent customer service skills.

9. Open new accounts on bank system.

10. Resolve product or service problems in a timely manner.

11. Maintain customer confidence and protect the bank by adhering to all rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

12. Assumes additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

1. This position requires excellent organizational skills, effective time management, strong leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills.
