We're Hiring: Assistant BuyerWork location: Landers CebuJob Summary:The Assistant Buyer will support the Senior Buyer/Division Head in managing product assortments, maintaining accurate data in the system, coordinating with suppliers, and assisting in securing the best deals. This role requires strong coordination, negotiation, and analytical skills, especially in the Food/Snacks category.Key Responsibilities:Encode and maintain complete merchandise information in the system (SKU, vendor codes, descriptions, cost, etc.).Assist in procurement tasks and buying activities.Coordinate with suppliers for orders and deliveries.Help ensure timely and accurate merchandise availability.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in any business-related course.At least 3 years of experience in buying (retail preferred) or 5 years in merchandising (Food/Snacks category is a plus).Buying experience from any retail sector is acceptable for this position.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Can work under pressure and with a sense of urgency.
