Assistant BuyerResponsibilities:Prepare, enter, and maintain purchase orders for MRO goods and servicesVerify pricing, quantities, and delivery dates for accuracyTrack open purchase orders and follow up with vendors on confirmations and delaysMaintain purchasing records, vendor files, and documentationAssist with vendor communications and route inquiries as neededSupport inventory control activities, including data entry and cycle countsAssist with receiving documentation and resolving invoice or delivery discrepanciesGenerate basic purchasing and inventory reportsProvide general administrative support to purchasing and operations teamsExperience & Qualifications:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)Basic understanding of purchasing or supply chain concepts preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; ERP experience a plusAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesStrong communication skills and willingness to learn
