The Assistant Controller will work directly with the owners and oversee various accounting functions. This position is hands-on and involves management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other accounting duties.

• Reconcile general ledger accounts and generate in-house financial statements
• Reconcile job cost and prepare the monthly work-in-process schedule for construction jobs
• Prepare and file monthly sales tax and insurance reports
• Prepare and file quarterly payroll tax reports
• Perform various daily, weekly, and monthly accounting duties

• Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years in accounting
• Education: Degree in Accounting
• Skills:
  • Proficient in Construction accounting
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with ComputerEase Software
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
