Assistant Controller

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Controller/Experienced Senior Accountant . Manufacturing Environment | Company Confidential - Cincinnati Area Base pay range $80,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus Key Responsibilities Manage and analyze product costing, including BOMs, routings, COGS, WIP, and inventory Monitor manufacturing costs; analyze and explain labor, material, and overhead variances Partner with operations and procurement Support inventory counts, reconciliations, and discrepancy resolution Assist with budgeting and forecasting related to production and inventory Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field 3–5+ years of progressive cost accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing Strong knowledge of BOMs, COGS, overhead allocation, and variance analysis Working knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes ERP or manufacturing system experience This role is ideal for a motivated accounting professional looking to expand responsibility and make a measurable impact in a growing manufacturing organization.
