Join our Air Systems Components team in El Paso, TX, and help drive financial integrity, cost control, and strategic decision-making in a dynamic, multi-plant environment. About the RoleAs the Assistant Controller, you will support the financial operations of our El Paso manufacturing site, working closely with plant leadership and the corporate finance team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, driving cost improvements, and supporting compliance across our operations. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport monthly close processes under tight deadlines, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.Analyze monthly financial results and validate key performance metrics.Assist in preparing annual budgets and monthly forecasts.Collaborate with engineering and procurement on standard cost updates and PPV (Purchase Price Variance) analysis.Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical inventory processes; investigate variances and recommend corrective actions.Partner with shared services to ensure timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations.Support capital project financials, including CAR preparation, tracking, and post-audit analysis.Assist with payroll and labor cost reviews; ensure proper controls are in place.Ensure SOX compliance and support internal/external audit requirements.Analyze plant operating costs and partner with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and special projects as needed. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.5–10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Familiarity with the Mexican Maquiladora model and related regulatory requirements is a strong plus.Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with OneStream or similar financial systems preferred.Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
