Manning Silverman & Company is a growing CPA firm and we are looking for an Assistant Controller to work closely with the partners of the firm on our internal accounting needs. This can be either a full time position or great for an experienced contractor who can devote a few days per week to this position. We are seeking an Assistant Controller to become an integral part of our team! You will oversee financial activities and personnel as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate financial activities and personnel
• Prepare financial statements and assist with budgets and forecasts
• Support various departments with project related data management and analysis
• Process invoices, payments, and payroll
• Provide support during the month-end closing

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in accounting management or other related fields
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Strong leadership qualities
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
