Assistant Controller

Frederick Fox (Los Angeles) is hiring an Assistant Controller in Los Angeles. Job Title: Assistant Controller Reports To: CFO Office Location: Calabasas, CA Schedule: Flexible start time; normal hours are 9am to 5:30pm Salary Range: $135,000 - $155,000 base + 15% target annual bonus Savings & Retirement – 401(k) plan with 4% employer contribution Time Away – PTO and holidays Healthcare Programs – Medical premiums 90% covered for employee Looking for candidates with: CPA required; public accounting experience preferred 3 years of experience supervising staff 5 to 8+ years of progressive accounting experience Inventory management and multi-unit/multi-location industry experience Able to lead daily accounting operations, financial reporting, be the point of contact for audit and support future M&A and/or IPO initiatives Systems: Sage Intacct ERP; ADP for payroll processed by HR/Payroll Specialist, POS communicating sales daily 40 employees at the corporate office and 500 total Currently operates like a small company with a goal to IPO in the next 2-3 years Audited by top 20 national CPA firm 5-day month-end close already in place Newly created position for growth Opportunities for professional development and advancement within a growing company #J-18808-Ljbffr
