We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role is a hands‑on contributor to our month‑end close process and will play an integral part in strengthening our accounting operations, data integrity, and reporting capabilities within our Acumatica ERP environment. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CPA candidate preferred. 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience; manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience owning month‑end close activities from journal entries through final reporting. Hands‑on experience with Acumatica ERP highly preferred; comparable mid‑market ERP (NetSuite, Sage, Epicor) considered. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Working knowledge of cost accounting fundamentals including COGS, inventory valuation, and manufacturing variances. Essential Job Functions Own and execute month‑end close activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis, consistently meeting close deadlines. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with particular attention to COGS, inventory, and manufacturing‑related accounts. Support multi‑entity consolidation entries across US and China entities. Prepare and analyze financial reports and schedules to support management reporting and audit preparation. Identify and investigate GL exceptions and discrepancies, including cost accounting anomalies, and drive resolution. Assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Collaborate with the Controller and VP of Finance on process improvement initiatives and ERP optimization within Acumatica. Support external audit and tax preparation requests by providing accurate, well‑documented workpapers. Partner cross‑functionally with Operations and Supply Chain on inventory costing and manufacturing cost flows. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel. Acumatica ERP experience highly preferred; comparable mid‑market ERP considered. Working knowledge of US GAAP as applied in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with multi‑entity and intercompany accounting a plus. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail, and ability to manage competing deadlines. Team‑oriented with a collaborative and continuous‑improvement mindset. Physical Abilities Ability to work at a desk and computer workstation for extended periods.
