About The Role:

We are partnering with a publicly traded manufacturing company committed to delivering high-quality products and innovative solutions to their clients. We are currently seeking an Assistant Corporate Controller to join their team

The Assistant Controller will manage and oversee the organization’s external financial reporting, technical accounting, and corporate accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage and prepare SEC regulatory filings including 10-K, 10-Q, and review the compliance with SEC and FASB requirements.

· Ensure financial statements are accurate and comply with US GAAP.

· Partner with FP&A and Investor Relations teams for earning reports and materials.

· Lead research on all new accounting and reporting standards issued by the SEC and FASB.

· Oversee corporate accounting and ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and procedures are in compliance with US GAAP.

· Oversee the accounts payable and payroll functions.

· Support accounting for inventory including valuation, costing, and adjustments.

· Support the continuous development of internal processes and controls improvements within SOX compliance.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required

· 9+ years’ experience in accounting

· CPA required

· 6+ years of public accounting experience

· 2+ years of management experience

· Excellent technical accounting and reporting skills

· Experience with SOX 404 compliance
