Now Hiring: Assistant General Manager

Location: Bigham Tavern – Bridgewater

Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love working with people, and take pride in building strong teams? Bigham Tavern at Bridgewater is looking for a dedicated and experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) to help lead our front-of-house operations.

What You’ll Do:

As AGM, you'll be a key leader on our management team—supporting daily operations, guiding staff, and ensuring every guest has a great experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading floor operations during busy shifts with confidence and calm.

• Creating a welcoming, upbeat guest experience from open to close.

• Hiring, onboarding, and training new front-of-house staff.

• Coaching and developing team members to promote retention and excellence.

• Managing labor costs and schedules effectively.

• Overseeing daily cash handling, deposits, and shift reporting.

• Collaborating with the GM and kitchen leadership to ensure smooth service.

• Ordering and Inventory.

• Addressing guest issues quickly and with care.

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of restaurant or hospitality management experience.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service.

• Experience with hiring, training, and team development.

• Comfortable working late nights, weekends, and busy shifts.

• Familiarity with POS systems (Toast experience is a plus).

• Financial awareness and experience managing shift money handling and reporting.
