Position: Assistant Maintenance Supervisor Location: Kihei, HI Pay: $64,480/year Experience: Basic maintenance, property management, or supervisory experience. (No electrical or major plumbing experience is required.) Education: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are preferred but not required. Type: Full-time; Direct Hire Schedule: Friday - Tuesday, 6:30am to 3:00pm Employers Options is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to join a growing and dynamic team! Job Description Monitor the Manager’s phone on weekends and respond to calls as needed, logging time for overtime. Maintain contact with utility staff to ensure daily and special tasks are completed efficiently. Perform routine and emergency maintenance of equipment, including pool pumps, ventilation fans, grills, and motors. Prepare and maintain pool areas, including chemical balance testing. Maintain accurate logs of unit entries, waste backups, elevator service, and other property-related activities. Observe and report safety, maintenance issues, and suspicious activity on the property. Enforce House Rules and maintain a positive demeanor with residents, guests, and contractors. Position Requirements Valid Driver’s License. Pool Operator Certification is required (our client is willing to pay for the certification if the applicant is not yet certified). Strong command of the English language and excellent communication skills. Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work at heights or in confined spaces. Knowledge of general carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and irrigation systems. Ability to multitask and follow detailed instructions. Reliable, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
