Job Title: Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Digital & AnalyticsExperience: 7–10 YearsCompany: PGP Glass Ltd.Industry: Glass Manufacturing (Container Glass / Specialty Glass)Location: VadodaraReporting To: Head – Digital & AnalyticsMode - Work from OfficeKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy predictive, prescriptive, and AI/ML solutions (including LLMs, RAG pipelines, AI agents) for demand forecasting, production planning, quality, cost optimization, and operational decision support.Apply machine learning and advanced analytics to identify process inefficiencies, defect patterns, yield improvement opportunities, and predictive/preventive maintenance use cases across manufacturing and supply chain operations.Build and maintain semantic search and knowledge retrieval systems using vector databases and structured/unstructured enterprise data.Develop and maintain dashboards, MIS reports, and performance metrics covering plant performance, sales trends, inventory, and customer insights.Translate analytics and AI insights into actionable recommendations for business, operations, and plant leadership.Collaborate with business, IT, and operations teams to implement, scale, and operationalize analytics and AI solutions, ensuring data quality, governance, and model performance.Own the end-to-end project lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment and ongoing support, including stakeholder management and change management.Contribute to the digital, analytics, and AI roadmap and mentor junior team members..Experience & Education7-10 years of experience in Digital Analytics, Data Analytics, or Data ScienceBachelor’s degree in engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fieldAbility to work with large datasets and optimize queries.Certifications like Lean Six Sigma, AWS/Azure Data Analytics,Technical SkillsStrong experience in Python/R, SQL, and data analysisGood working knowledge with Gen-AI & RAG usecases.Exposure to ML models (regression, classification, forecasting)Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)Understanding of manufacturing data (ERP, MES, SCM systems)Familiarity with cloud platforms is a plusGood communication and presentation skills
