Big Bob’s Bowling is seeking a driven, floor-focused Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations in a high-energy, entertainment-driven environment.
This role supports the General Manager in overseeing front-of-house operations, bar service, guest experience, team development, and financial performance. The Assistant Manager must thrive in a fast-paced setting that blends hospitality, nightlife energy, and operational discipline.
Guest Experience & Floor Leadership
- Lead shifts with visible, hands-on presence
- Ensure Legendary Hospitality standards are delivered consistently
- Manage bowling lane flow, wait times, and guest communication
- Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally
- Support private events and league nights with seamless execution
Team Development
- Coach and develop FOH and bar team members
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training
- Maintain accountability around service standards and steps of service
- Foster a culture built on energy, urgency, and ownership
Financial Performance
- Support sales-driving initiatives and promotions
- Manage labor to budget whilemaintainingservice levels
- Monitor bar controls, cash handling, and daily reporting
- Protect margins through operational discipline
Bar & Service Operations
- Oversee beverage quality and consistency
- Maintain proper liquor controls and inventory processes
- Ensure compliance with TABC and company policies
- Support execution of seasonal cocktails and promotions
Operational Discipline
- Ensure cleanliness and organization throughout the venue
- Enforce safety and security standards
- Uphold Black Family Hospitality core values daily
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of restaurant, bar, or entertainment venue management experience
- Strong leadership presence and ability to command a busy floor
- Understanding of labor management and sales-driving tactics
- Experience in high-volume or nightlife environments preferred
- TABC Certificationrequired
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
