The Assistant Nurse Manager will monitor daily clinical operations of outpatient clinics. Shift Schedule: This role works between 7:00am to 5:00pm. Weekend rotations will occur depending on coverage needs. Key Responsibilities Oversee nursing personnel and patient care providers in the clinical setting. Coordinate activities to ensure quality and safe patient care. Anticipate and resolve patient care and personnel issues. In conjunction with the clinical manager, ensure maintenance of annual staff competencies and continuing education. Perform duties of the RN (Registered Nurse) Ambulatory as needed. Collaborate with care coordinators to ensure smooth and effective transition of care. Participate and/or coordinate committees, task forces, and continuous improvement activities. Participate in department leadership meetings. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives. Assume responsibilities of the clinical manager as needed. Participate in hiring and onboarding of personnel, annual performance reviews, and performance improvement. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Two years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse Preferred Qualifications Previous supervisory experience Experience as an RN in an ambulatory setting Physical Requirements Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye‑hand coordination. Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range. May require some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids. Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly, to move objects. Personal Protective Equipment Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures. Pay Range Minimum Annual Salary: $73,840.00 Maximum Annual Salary: $112,112.00 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
