Overview: Job Title: Assistant Nurse Manager, RN Schedule: 7pm-7am, Full- Time, Variable ShiftsDepartment: - Medical Surgical UnitLocation: Kernersville Medical Center – Kernersville, NCWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Nurse Manager to help oversee the daily operations of a 46-bed medical-surgical unit, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. This role provides leadership to nursing staff, manages staffing and resources, supports professional development, and drives performance improvement initiatives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Qualifications: Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. BSN, preferred. Graduate Degree, preferred.Experience:Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience, preferred.Prior demonstrated nursing leadership, preferred.Licensure/Certification:Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.Unit/Dept Specific Required Certifications.Additional Skills (required): Successful completion of generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to successfully complete Leader Education & Training.
