Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position in Telluride, CO for an Assistant Pastry Chef. The Assistant Pastry Chef will support the Head Pastry Chef in preparing and baking high-quality pastries, desserts, and other baked goods. Responsibilities include assisting with food preparation, executing recipes with precision, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, ensuring proper storage of ingredients, and monitoring food inventory. Additional duties may involve collaborating with the culinary team to develop new menu items and maintaining consistency in food presentation and quality. Qualifications Proficiency in Baking, Cooking, and Culinary SkillsHands-on experience in Bakery and Food PreparationStrong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality pastriesAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced kitchen environmentWorking knowledge of food safety and sanitation standardsCulinary education or certification in baking and pastry arts is preferredPrevious experience in a professional kitchen or pastry role is a plusWillingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
