You will apply optimization techniques to scheduling, resource assignment and allocation type of use cases. You will be required to work closely with application developers and production subject matter experts to roll out impactful solutions for the organisation.Job DescriptionThis is an individual contributor roleDesign, build and deploy optimization solutions on AWSProvide L2/L3 level support for optimization solutions in productionDevelop optimization solutions for use cases such as hangar scheduling and manpower planning optimizationCollaborate with application developers, MRO planners and other teams to enable data-driven decision-makingJob RequirementMaster’s degree in industrial engineering or equivalent, with a focus on mathematical optimizationAt least 3 years of experience in building mathematical optimization modelsFamiliarity with linear programming, non-linear programming, constraint programming and heuristicsPossesses strong problem-solving and communication skillsSelf-driven and independent problem solver who is comfortable managing his/her own projectsProficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualisation toolsFamiliarity with foundational AWS services and cloud conceptsFamiliarity with code version control solutions, containerization tools and agile project management solutionsAbout CompanyST Engineering is a global technology, defence and engineering group with a diverse portfolio of businesses across the aerospace, smart city, defence and public security segments.
