This position is responsible for helping the production supervisor with monitoring all areas and processes in the plant so the plant operates at optimal efficiency while maintaining clean work areas and a product quality that meets all our quality specifications.Responsibilities:Assist in monitoring all processes in the plant through process control checks and visual inspections to ensure the plant is running at optimum efficiency.Work with supervisors and operators to maintain a clean working environment under the Sanitation and Good Manufacturing practices guidelines.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations in place for all activities associated with this position.Work with Quality Assurance to make sure the product meets our required quality parameters.Complete all required process flow documentation in a neat orderly fashion.Participate in training sessions and the training of new employees in order to foster a safe, efficient, and clean work environment.Consistently look for ways to improve operating efficiencies and to identify any safety and/or quality issues and make appropriate suggestions for the improvement of process/production Required/Preferred education and experienceHigh school diploma or equivalent.2-5 years of previous maintenance and manufacturing experienceExperience in a food manufacturing facility is a plusLeadership skills are needed, or previous direct or indirect management
