Assistant Production Supervisor Apply
Premier Placements is currently interviewing for an Assistant Production Supervisor opportunity with a well-established food manufacturing company located in the Greensboro, NC area. As an Assistant Production Supervisor you will work closely with the Production Supervisor on decision-making for the production employees. You will also be involved in performance reviews and disciplinary actions. You will take a hands-on approach in providing leadership and coordination of activities related to maintaining and monitoring production processes and procedures.

Work Schedule: Monday Friday 6:00 am 3:00pm MUST have flexibility to work weekends if needed.
Base Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 / year + additional weekend pay! Position also qualifies for a yearly bonus incentive up to 7%!
Responsibilities:
- Supports General Plant Safety, Food Safety, Food Defense initiatives and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Coordinates, maintains, and monitors production processes and procedures. Manages the production process (time, temperature, procedures).
- Trains and coaches hourly lead and production associates. Implements Company and plant procedures and policies.
- Demonstrates a clear understanding of IPM, the link to Quality and the need to manage based on facts and data.
- Coordinates workflow with all other departments as well as equipment repair with maintenance.
- Maintains records for all phases of production relative to safety, food safety, key performance indicators, orders completion and personnel and/or labor related issues.
- May conduct in-house audits/checks and quality control checks.
- Take appropriate action to ensure the integrity and sustained certification of the Food Safety and Quality systems.
- Responsible for reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring.
- Responsible for following and enforcing procedures outlined in the Food Safety Plan and the Food Quality Plan and any other programs that support the food safety and quality systems.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of leadership experience as a in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Previous Food Manufacturing experience
- Must enjoy working hands-on and have the ability to coach, train, and develop current and new employees.
- Must have knowledge of KPI's and how to track them.
- People Oriented Leadership ability to motivate and help all teams achieve their goals.
