Job Title: Assistant Professor- Inorganic ChemistryDepartment: School of Advanced and Chemical SciencesWe are inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor (Inorganic Chemistry) in the School of Advanced and Chemical Sciences. The ideal candidate should hold a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry and demonstrate excellence in research, teaching, and academic development.Key Responsibilities:Research & Innovation:Establish an independent and externally funded research program.Generate external funding through research proposals and grant applications.Develop research facilities in areas such as coordination chemistry, bioinorganic chemistry, organometallic chemistry, materials & nanochemistry, catalysis, and environmental chemistry.Promote interdisciplinary collaborations and present research at conferences.Teaching & Academic:Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Inorganic Chemistry and related subjects.Develop curriculum, laboratory modules, and assessment strategies.Mentor students for academic and research excellence.Student Development & Mentorship:Guide students in laboratory techniques and scientific writing.Encourage participation in research projects and academic events.Institutional Responsibilities:Participate in departmental meetings and academic planning.Contribute to accreditation, ranking, and quality assurance activities.Organize workshops, seminars, conferences, and outreach programs.Support admissions, examinations, and other academic duties.Eligibility & Experience:Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from a recognized university.3–4 years of post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience.Postdoctoral experience from reputed foreign universities will be highly preferred.Strong research profile with publications in reputed peer-reviewed indexed journals.Experience with modern laboratory instruments is an added advantage.
