Assistant PM/Contractor: BES Interconnections Affairs This position is responsible for developing and managing contracts with neighboring Transmission Owners (TO), Generator Owners (GO), Industrial Customers, and other outside entities regarding interconnection to the PPL grid. This includes forming interdepartmental team of knowledge experts to acquire scope, cost, and scheduling information. This project management function is to support the successful execution of the planned capital budget work, some of which affects interconnected (TOs), GOs/IPPs and customers, ensure accurate work scopes/costs/schedules are prepared for the interconnection of IPPs (GOs), and Industrial Customers. This position works closely with stakeholders within various groups within the T&S and Distribution Organization, to deliver high quality scopes, schedules, costs and contracts. Primary Responsibilities Communicate PPL's needs with the neighboring TOs, and arrange for agreements when needed. Obtain/develop scope, schedule, and cost for work needed with neighboring TOs by interfacing with internal company departments, including: engineering design, siting, real estate, permitting, operations, Legal (OGC), metering, project management, compliance, distribution planning, regulatory affairs, and system maintenance & engineering. Work with key stake holders and lead development of agreements to support T&S Customer Requests, including IPPs, Method of Supply, Method of Accommodations (MOAs), Relocations, and Pole Attachment Facilities, within established milestones. Work with key stakeholders and lead development of agreements to reflect accurate scope, cost, and schedule information for the attachment facilities required to interconnect the IPP Developer to the PPL EU Transmission System, within established milestones. Work with key stakeholders and lead development of agreements to reflect accurate scope, cost and schedule required for delivery of Method of Supply (MOS) reports and agreements to Key Account Managers for customer requests to interconnect to the PPL EU transmission system, within established milestones. Work with key stakeholders and lead development of agreements to reflect accurate scope, cost and schedule required for delivery of Method of Accommodation (MOA) reports to Key Account Managers for transmission customer requests to generate behind-the-meter, within established milestones. Work with key stakeholders and lead development of agreements to reflect accurate scope, cost and schedule required for relocation of existing transmission facilities from property owners or PennDot, within established milestones. Proactively identify, communicate and mitigate project risks; coordinates corrective actions. Support the development and maintenance of Interconnection Affairs support standards and procedures necessary to produce deliverables from the team to support change. Experience requirements: Project management experience within the electric utility industry Transmission Planning and/or Generator interconnection experience Developing Interconnection Agreements Developing Customer Agreements
