We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Project Manager/Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the coordination and management of commercial construction projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure that all aspects of the project are executed efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a foundational understanding of construction processes, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Duties

• Assist in project coordination, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
• Utilize construction management software such as Planswift, Siteworx, and ProCore for project tracking and documentation.
• Support the development of project schedules and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members on construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Aid in blueprint reading and interpretation to facilitate accurate project execution.
• Participate in construction estimating processes to assist in budget management.
• Maintain clear communication regarding project status, issues, and updates.
• Document project progress through reports and schematics to ensure transparency.

Experience

• Minimum 2 year of construction management experience
• Familiarity with construction management software (Planswift,Siteworx, ProCore) is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
• Strong understanding of time management principles and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating techniques
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
