Assistant Project Manager (Construction) $85,000 - $110,000 per year | Skokie, IL | On-Site | Permanent This is a true APM seat—own financial tracking, help drive buyout and change orders, and start managing pieces of the project instead of just supporting them. A bit about us: We’re a well‑established Chicagoland General Contractor with a consistent pipeline of commercial and mixed‑use work. Clear step up from Sr. PE into project management ownership Direct exposure to costs, contracts, and client communication Tight PM/Super partnership—no silos Competitive compensation, bonus potential, strong benefits Job Details What You’ll Do Support PM with budget tracking, cost reports, forecasting, and buyout Draft and manage change orders from pricing through approval Coordinate subcontractors on scope clarifications and compliance Lead portions of OAC and subcontractor meetings Review pay apps, code invoices, and track project financials Oversee closeout items, including punch, O&Ms, and turnover docs What We’re Looking For Typically 4–7 years with a GC/CM (PE → Sr. PE background ideal) Comfortable managing cost, schedule, and documentation Procore/Bluebeam experience preferred Bachelor’s in CM, Civil, or related (or equivalent experience) Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
