Who We're Looking For:

We're looking for a motivated commercial construction Assistant Project Manager with three years of experience in building, design, architecture, engineering, or a similar industry, who lives in the US Virgin Islands and has local knowledge.The proper hardworking Assistant Project Manager will be in charge of managing project operations to guarantee that costs, schedules, document control, and quality standards are adhered to. Our Assistant Project Manager assists the Project Manager and Superintendents by providing continual learning and the capacity to take on several tasks while effectively collaborating with clients, architects, subcontractors, and coworkers. Successful applicants demonstrate a strong commitment to completing tasks on time and within budget. They can confidently represent the company.

What You'll Do:

Our new Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for organizing, creating, managing, and executing all aspects required to complete the project on schedule, within budget, and with the quality stated. A typical day for a Client Assistant Project Manager includes assisting the Project Manager with construction planning, scheduling equipment deliveries, document distribution, and serving as a liaison between project team members and the community. The goal is to promote the interests of both the firm and the clients. Client Assistant Project Managers collaborate directly with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Project Executives to give technical advice on cost estimates, negotiate contracts, modify orders, and set project objectives to guarantee project success. If you're driven to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-task environment with multiple project relationships and competing priorities, this may be the perfect fit for you.

What You Bring To The Table:

  • Proficient with Excel and all Microsoft Office programs.
  • At least three years of experience in construction, design, architecture, engineering, or a related profession.
  • Proficient with PlanGrid, Procore, and Sage 300 Timberline
  • Effective and proactive communication (written, phone, in-person)
  • Ability to collaborate successfully with coworkers, subcontractors, vendors, architects, designers, and the community.
  • Organized, with remarkable attention to detail.

What We Offer:

  • Salary range $70,000 to $85,000 up to 10% in an annual discretionary bonus
  • Free medical, dental, and vision insurance for the employee. 75% cost sharing for family coverage including a domestic partner and HSA contributions.
