Nature of Work
Support and assist the project manager in assuring timely project completion. Duties may include developing schedules, budgets, progress reviews, billings, bids, change orders, submittal lists and reports. Interface with subcontractors, owners, vendors, and company personnel to coordinate efficient completion of a project.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Create project management & superintendent documentation including schedules, material purchases, cost management, progress charts, labor allegation, etc.
Coordinate/communicate with owners, vendors, crews, subcontracts, architects, and suppliers to facilitate timely project completion.
Assist with labor forecasting and project billings.
Conduct workplace inspections assessing quantity & specification/quality, percent completion by subcontractors, & safety compliance.
Develop operations and maintenance manuals and as-builts as required.
Conducts actions in a professional and unbiased manner.
Complies with all company and site policies and best practice standards.
Continuously develops proficiency and understanding in the role.
Maintains a professional appearance and workspace.
Participates in and complies with all company safety and quality programs and procedures.
Promote the company safety culture and safety awareness throughout the company, projects, or office.
Utilizes relevant company technology to support all assigned responsibilities.
Maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record which, per Company’s vehicle policy, allows operation of a company vehicle.
Exercise initiative or, as directed, perform additional duties to meet the needs of the organization.
In addition to the above responsibilities, this position will be responsible for the following:
Provide mentorship/training to less experienced team members
Negotiates procurement of minor scopes and draft subcontract and purchase order scopes for review by the Project Manager
Manages and supervises the purchase and delivery of project materials, tools, and equipment
Organizes, participates, and leads various project meetings
Assist in the development of project budgets
Fiscal Responsibility
Assumes responsibility for day-to-day financial management of assigned scope of responsibility by understanding the budget process, accurately forecasting and limiting month-to-month fluctuations.
Maintains fiscal records and follows procedures to ensure effective and efficient operations.
Understands business plan and manages financial goals.
Makes operational decisions in light of broader financial goals and constraints.

Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college/university or equivalent experience.
Experience
2+ years of related work experience preferred
Other technical experience such as military, public service, on the job training programs, etc. may meet this requirement as determined by local management
Physical Demands and Working Environment
May require periods of overnight travel
Normal office environment
Periods of time walking on construction sites
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
Frequent activity: sitting, viewing, and typing on computer screen
Occasional activity: standing, walking, bending, reaching above shoulder, climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling
At times will be required to use a ladder and work at tall heights (i.e. roof top, access ladders, scissor-lift, scaffolding)
Safety-sensitive position that requires extreme focus and attention to safety hazards and safety protocols.
