Assistant Project Manager Role Description

Are you a recent or upcoming graduate looking to launch your career in Project Management or Estimation? Are you a driven individual looking for entry level experience into a fast-paced and high-growth industry? No experienced required! HB Surfaces hires and trains full-time Assistant Project Managers to work in a team environment with our Project Management group. This position provides opportunities to work interactively with Project Management, Installation Managers, Purchasing, and Designers.

As an Assistant Project Manager, you can look forward to:

• Drawing project scopes and details using estimation software
• Ensure all project participants understand the project scope by distributing layouts and managing community notes
• Assists Project Manager with all phases of the project
• Initiates product purchases and ensures that project materials have arrived after the start date
• Serve as a backup to the Project Manager and participate directly in Project Management initiatives in the absence of the Project Manager

Desired Skills and Experience

No industry experience is required! We are looking for driven individuals who are committed to engaging and learning about the construction industry.

Education in construction management, project management or communication is preferred.

Pay commensurate with experience. $18- $20 per hour
