We are a Top ENR heavy civil contractor seeking a Senior Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects across transportation, industrial, and energy sectors. This is an opportunity to work on complex, high-profile projects – from major highway corridors and design-build infrastructure to large-scale site development – while gaining hands‑on experience in both field operations and project management. Advancement is based on performance and contribution, not tenure. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of projects, including: DOT highway and bridge construction Design‑build and progressive design‑build delivery Industrial, mining, and energy infrastructure Large‑scale civil site development Work alongside teams that self‑perform critical scopes, providing deeper exposure to: grading and earthwork structures utilities civil site development Key Responsibilities Support project execution from preconstruction through closeout on heavy civil projects Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation Track quantities, production, and costs to ensure alignment with project budgets and schedules Manage and coordinate subcontractors, including scope, performance, and cost tracking Participate in project meetings with owners, engineers, and internal stakeholders Assist with scheduling, procurement, and project controls Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred 3-5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction or related infrastructure projects Experience working on DOT, transportation, utilities, water, mining, or site development projects Strong understanding of construction processes, project controls, and field operations Experience with design‑build projects is preferred How to Apply In line with job instructions, you can email your resume and projects to for immediate review.
