For more information about LGESVT, please visit Position Overview The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for managing project deliverables to design, procure, install, commission and close out large-scale battery storage systems at customer sites throughout North America. This includes defining and managing project scope, schedule, budget, internal and external stakeholder management, change and risk management, project reporting and contracts management. The Assistant Project Manager will be the secondary interface between the customer and project stakeholders, and will be reporting to the Lead PM. You will lead and coordinate activities between staff in Korea and the United States. This is an opportunity to contribute to the growth in North America and the expansion of the Project Management organization. This position reports to the Director of Project Management. Primary Responsibilities Lead battery storage system projects from initiation through installation, commissioning, and closeout. Stakeholder Management: Attends customer meetings & responses to RFIs Contract Management: Understands parts of contract Understands contract score card Helps Lead PM with the kickoff tasks Project Controls (Financial and Schedule) Tracks when vendors, HQ, 3rd party need to get paid Technical Design & Engineering Support: Has minimal understanding of AEROS, Battery, PCS products Understands org structure, and which SME to consult Supports Cx coordination activities, attends daily PODs and supports the team as needed. Identifies risks & alerts Lead PM Key Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Professional, proactive, adaptable individual with a strong results-oriented work ethic. Proven record of achieving successful completion of complex projects. Customer facing role with excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. A strong, collaborative, team player able to thrive within a matrix organization. Comfortable working with international stakeholders. Ability to prioritize responsibilities and multi-task in fast-paced environment. Embodies LG’s values of Humble, Hungry and Smart. Education and Experience A Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent, in a technical discipline is preferred. PMP Certification or demonstrated competency in managing complex projects is a plus. Number of years of Experience Required: 4+ yrs. Project Execution experience required. Experience with electrical equipment or power/utility/renewables market is a plus.
