CORE is looking for a Construction Professional to participate in the management mid to large-scale commercial construction projects throughout the South Bay area. The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will serve on a team leading one or more large-scale construction phase projects and staff members for a wide range of institutional clients, including colleges, universities, K-12 districts, municipalities, healthcare systems and more. The APM will review plans and specs to ensure accuracy, prepare our General Conditions, and establish baseline schedules for each subcontractor or self-performing team. The APM will help track project costs and complete change management, RFIs, warranty documentation. He/she will also review and process shop drawings and submittals, assist in writing subcontracts and pay applications, manage trade partner relationships and conduct regular jobsite coordination meetings. The APM will supervise all documentation with our trade partners, as well as help maintain client relationships and provide ongoing team communication throughout the project. Relevant work experience/internship working for a commercial construction, engineering or architecture company Professional Degree in construction management, architecture or a related field (mechanical or civil engineering, construction tech, interior design, business administration) is preferred Basic understanding of construction project sequencing and scheduling Ability to review and understand drawings and specifications as well as constructability Ability to negotiate, write and execute all subcontract agreements Willingness to relocate to or near the South Bay area Strong communications skills, both written and verbal Technology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam and Procore Experience with CMAR and/or Design/Build delivery methods Must work well in a team environment and be committed to client service A valid Driver's License This is an exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act and employee is not eligible for overtime compensation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
