Assistant Property Manager|Property Manager Apply
POSITION SUMMARY
In this role you will provide assistance to your site manager in several aspects, this may include weekly and monthly reportings, assisting with collection of rental income, processing rental income, and serving legal notices as needed.
We also ask that our assistant manager provide customers and residents with information, such as point of contacts regarding their questions and needs for both the leasing experience and resident community experience. You will be requested to conduct follow ups, as well as assists with; leasing, move ins, move outs, transfers and resident questions/concerns. This person will also be responsible for day-to-day implementation of policies and procedures and adherence of all Landlord-Tenant Laws.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide excellent response and resolution to tenant inquiries and questions
- Monitor operations to ensure compliance with lease agreements
- Know and apply all principals of Landlord-Tenant Laws in accordance with the Lease
- Ensure accuracy of all account postings and tenant ledgers
- Ensure all tenant files are correct and complete
- Run marketing ads in accordance with property goals
- Ensure that all Fair Housing Laws and principals are followed daily
- Ensure accuracy of lease documents
- Know details of property, current availability and pricing
- Confirm all leases and corresponding paperwork are completed and input to Yardi software
- Ensure that proper insurance certificates from residents are on file
- Ensure accuracy of receivables postings and tenant ledgers Instigate collections activities when needed, enter payment agreements, and diligently collect rent and fees owed
- Play active role in assisting with resident events, community outreach, and special events as they occur
- Assist site manager in monitoring the sites aged receivables reports and respond to any delinquencies in accordance with established policies
- Continuously review tenant accounts and monitor the collection process
- Identify and control physical safety and liability concerns at the properties
- Keep up to date on training classes as they are provided
- Open to working weekends and having 2 consecutive days off unless overtime is pre-approved.
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Travel is required, as needed, including driving to alternate locations.
Regular attendance is required.
Able to use cell phone with your team / compensation will be given monthly
