We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Assistant Store Manager to join our team at our Palo Alto location. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and organizational skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and ensure that our store runs smoothly and efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • Effectively communicate with customers and team members to foster a positive work environment.
  • Uphold and support the company’s values, ethics, and culture with a positive attitude.
  • Manage the operations of a fast-paced, high-volume, customer-centric store or restaurant.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations, including food safety, expiration management, and loss prevention.
  • Oversee labor hours and cost control to optimize productivity and profitability.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, inventory management, and reporting.
  • Handle time management effectively, multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and organization, ensuring a pleasant environment for both employees and customers.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8-10 hours per day.
  • Work approximately 45 hours per week, with flexible availability including weekends and closing shifts as required.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with a proven track record of success.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage and oversee daily store operations.
  • Familiarity with food safety, labor management, and cost control.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to complete administrative duties effectively.
  • Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs and long periods of standing.
