YESWAY is seeking an Assistant Store Manager within our gas station and convenience store business. We are looking for a candidate who has experience in working in a customer service-oriented field or in the convenience store business. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (other duties may be assigned) Assist the Store Manager by assisting with management responsibilities including training and development of employees and store responsibilities; Scheduling employees for shifts; Resolving store issues including customer concerns; Ensure compliance with all required regulations and requirements; Assist with audits and proper placement and stocking of merchandise; Ensure hospitality for all store guests by overseeing timely guest transactions; and Monitor profits through end of day procedures, shrink indicators, lottery, stock audits, vendors, car wash operations and retail waste. REQUIREMENTS: (Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered) Education High School Diploma or GED required; and Successful completion of certification testing as needed.
