William Ryan Homes is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Construction Superintendent/Warranty Tech to join our Production team in the Ft. Myers area. The person in this position is responsible for assisting the Superintendents with the safe and timely delivery of a construction project, ensuring all site activities are fully coordinated.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in maintaining high standards of quality throughout the building process including safety, and cleanliness
  • Support in the maintenance of schedules with diligent project and time management
  • Participate in site meetings and required site safety meetings
  • Committed to providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Maintaining warranty schedules with diligent project and time management

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Basic understanding of construction trades and construction techniques
  • General carpentry skills an asset
  • Quick learner, detail-oriented and organized
  • Thorough understanding of our warranty program and all vendor warranty programs
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Self-starter with ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately and timely
  • Knowledge in local, state and federal building and construction codes; OSHA and EPA guidelines
  • Basic technology skills, including Microsoft Windows, Outlook, and residential production scheduling system

Experience/Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • General Labor and/or Residential Construction Experience is preferred

Other Requirements:

  • Some travel required; must own or lease a truck and have a valid driver’s license with insurance coverage
  • Cell phone with data package
