Thrilling roller coasters, action-packed Hershey Bears hockey games, thrilling live entertainment, and one-of-a-kind events are a day in the life of our team members.Traffic Operations Assistant Supervisors are responsible for assisting Traffic Support Staff Supervisors with overseeing the daily supervision of Traffic operations at the Hersheypark Entertainment Complex.As a Part-Time Team Member, you will enjoy sweet perks like FREE admission and parking to Hersheypark, discounts on food & shopping, and more as soon as you receive your Employee ID!Job Functions:Supervise team members in assigned areas and provide coaching/training while on their shiftCoordinate placement of traffic staff and parking lot plan execution for daily operations, in addition to scheduling breaksEnsure staff are operating in accordance with Child Labor LawsDirect, monitor, and regulate traffic flow to promote continuous mobility and prevent gridlock both on property and on assigned public roadway areas as neededExecute daily parking lot setup to include pre-event setup and post-event clean upProvide vehicle assistance to guests and employees as necessaryProvide a safe and friendly atmosphere to guests and team membersProvide recognition and appreciation to team membersAssist in crowd management duties during large eventsEstablish and maintain a good working relationship with other departments and support teamsEnforce company policies and summon assistance when necessaryPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Must be at least 18 years of age on the date of applyingMust possess a valid driver's licenseMinimum of at least one (1) year of experience working in the Lead Parking Lot Attendant role (professional experience may be considered in lieu of departmental experience)Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Must be friendly, upbeat, and work well with other team members and be able to interact with guestsMust be able to work independently and be self-motivated to perform all aspects of the job at all timesMust be detail-oriented and have clear verbal and written communication skillsMust have the ability to effectively communicate verbally, including delivering safety instructions/directions, verbal cues, and speaking clearly into microphones and radiosMust be able to successfully complete all legal, company, and department training requirementsMust have the ability to remain alert and vigilant at all timesMust have the ability to handle stressful working conditions and emergencies, and accept a high degree of accountabilityMust be comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentMust have the ability to safeguard confidential informationMust display a positive attitude, an eagerness to learn, and a professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelinesJob Demands:Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays - Team members must work a minimum of eight (8) hours every two pay periods in order to stay an active employeeDuring the months of May through October, team members must work a minimum of sixteen (16) hours every pay period in order to stay in the positionEmployees are subject to a variety of weather conditions, including but not limited to extreme heat, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather.Physical requirements would include the ability to stand and walk unassisted (for up to eight hours at a time), bend at the waist and knees and have repeated manual dexterity, the ability to raise the leg 37 inches, the ability to push, pull, and reach above shoulder level, and lifting up to fifty (50) pounds without assistanceHershey Entertainment and Resorts is an Equal Opportunity Employer
