Assisted Living LPN

Within an Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) setting, responsible for promoting and maintaining health of Elderly Participants in the community, through initial implementation of nursing care plans, providing nursing care, as well as periodic re-evaluations of Participant and family nursing needs. Conducts assessments, treatments, and provides teaching and counseling to Participants and family members. Will coordinate and mentor, center health aides and home care aides to support quality care delivery.

Hours Available: M-F 8am-4pm (limited community involvement – mostly in center)

Qualifications   

• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
• Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days   
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)- Aveanna can assist in obtaining this requirement after hire, if necessary.
• TB skin test (current within last 12 months)   
• Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required   
• Must have reliable transportation  
• 2 plus years of Elderly Care Experience
