Assistive Technology Professional (ATP)Long Island / Northport, NYJob DescriptionWarrior Service Company LLC (WSC) is currently seeking an individual to fill our Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) position on-site, located around Northport/Long Island, NY. The ATP evaluates clients to determine their rehab/assistive technology needs or seating/mobility needs based on therapist assessment findings and physician's orders. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Working with patients, therapists, physicians, and referral sources in the field to determine and provide the most appropriate assistive technology and complex rehab technology equipment needs for clientsProvide wheelchair repair services to veterans of the Northport, NY Dept. of VA (Veterans Affair)Conduct face-to-face meetings to educate therapists, physicians, funding sources, and the client regarding available and appropriate equipment and technologies, funding guidelines, and issuesMarket WSC and Rehab Services by calling on referral sourcesProvide sales and product demonstration/in-services to the healthcare communitySupport industry shows, training seminars, or other local area events as deemed valuable for the specific rehab sales portfolioAttain/exceed annual sales goals and gross margin goals and objectivesConsistently review and report on sales calls, sales outcomes, and sales opportunitiesPerform other tasks as assigned or necessaryQualificationsExperience in the rehab field, or related home care experienceATP Certification requiredSeating and Mobility Specialist (SMS) Certification preferredRide Designs Certification preferredAbility to lift to 50 lbs. frequently and over 100 lbs. occasionally to a height of 36"Ability to quickly learn about new rehab equipment and assistive technologiesAbility to perform thorough and competent seating/mobility, assistive technology, and rehab equipment evaluationsAbility to understand proper billing procedures for rehab/assistive technology equipment as necessaryAbility to pass a background check and drug testPay:$65k - $75k (flexible)Job Type:Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveVision insuranceRelocation AssistanceSchedule:8-hour shiftMonday to Friday 8a to 4:30pShift availability:Day Shift (Required)
